Trail Description
View Mount Vision Loop trail on AllTrails
The Mount Vision trail offers a 1.7 mile, moderately steep, quiet hike through forested areas near the border of Hampden and Wilbraham, it takes on average about one hour to complete. Late fall to early spring hiking offers almost 360 degrees worth of spectacular glimpses of the surrounding valley. Hikers meander along beautiful New England rock walls and ephemeral streams. This loop uses the blue marked “Loop Trail” that bypasses the peak from Mount Vision’s main white trail. This trail is great for birding, hiking, and running, and it’s unlikely you’ll encounter many other people while exploring. Dogs are welcome and may be off-leash in some areas.
Access the trail from North Rd. -Trailhead is adjacent to power lines. The main trail runs between North & Burleigh Rd. and is marked with white blazes.
